Candell's Boudoir Experience

Q: How did you find Gemini Boudoir, and what made you decide to book your boudoir experience(s)?

A:  I had the distinct luck and honor of stumbling into Chelsea’s friend group through being roommates with her bestie! As I got to know her she told me about her business and her passion and showed me some of her work. I’ve had some friends that have done boudoir shoots but I immediately felt like what Chelsea did was on a different level. if I was going to feel comfortable enough to let someone photograph me so vulnerably I couldn’t think of someone better for it than Chelsea.

Q: Were you nervous when booking, or leading up to your session day(s)?

A: Oh absolutely! As a plus size woman I have always hated my body, I used to hide myself and not let anyone take photos of me. I didn’t even get senior photos done when I graduated because I hated the way I looked. But seeing myself through Chelsea’s lense makes me see how beautiful I am. 

Q: What were your favorite moments during your experience(s)?

A: Chelsea is the ultimate hype QUEEN! She makes you feel so comfortable and walks you through every step. She gets so into her work, when the lighting and pose hits just right you’ll get a “meow” out of her 😂 the best moments through the whole experience were when she would get so excited about the art we were making together. 

Q: How do you feel now that you've went through with your session and seen your images,?

A: AMAZING! The photos came out better than I could have ever imagined, even with some of my insecurities showing, I don’t care because I look so damn good. 

Q: What would you say to someone who’s on the fence about booking their own experience?

 A: DO IT! No matter how nervous you are or how you feel about your body, don’t let it stop you because you are BEAUTIFUL and I promise Chelsea will make sure you see and feel that for yourself.
